You may wonder why we called it Hammer? This is a creekboat for playboaters. It's designed to be paddled and feel more like the boat you know, so the adjustment period is much easier. But be warned, this is not a halfslice, nor a riverrunner - it's a full-blown creek kayak priced by the teeth. It's primarily aimed at lower-volume creeks, but true to its name, the Hammer can handle the biggest Big Waters. This is a creek paddler aimed at improving the paddling experience for everyone, not just a handful of pros.
Thanks to the modern bow rocker, the Hammer will jump over anything you show it, while the stern slightly submerges underwater so you can turn it more like the boat you know (so it is not a squirting half-slice). The stern will make it easier to get out of holes and the rear deck will ensure you don't go into the backend.
By shortening the length, increasing the width and adding a generous amount of rocker on the stern, the Hammer glides easily through the water, keeping you constantly moving away from all things nasty.
The semi-flat hull with raised edges means it will move through the water with familiarity, and playing in the waves will be fun if you're on a river like this. Plus, we've put maximum stability and volume into this highly maneuverable, super responsive and extremely forgiving kayak.
