The design goal for Super Skipper was ambition. It took a long time to see what all the new creek boats do, what makes them good, and more importantly, what their shortcomings are, and then Soul Waterman set out to fix it all. Yes, everything.
Most of the new designs skip cylinders well, but most lose forward speed. So the goal was to have the boat bounce through the water like a frog and maintain speed and direction.
Some jumps you don't want to skip, especially the big ones. When it came down to it, the idea was to have the boat dive to a straight keel and then gradually arc to the surface, still moving downstream from the base.
Precision paddling while navigating through multi-speed, chaotic currents was an absolute must; having a boat that does the work for you so you can stay on top of your game.
However, there is more! As good as all the new ships are at staying out of trouble, they all have one fatal flaw. If you get stuck in a hole, it's almost impossible to get out. Through a combination of tip volume, rocker shape and rails, they have created a design that allows you more control in hungry holes so you can more easily maneuver and take advantage of the currents and currents that flow away.
